The DIY Christmas tree is one of those great holiday mysteries. As residents of the 21st century, we like to revisit our more primitive roots once a year and hike out into the woods with a saw to cut down the best-looking tree we can find. It’s an amazing tradition; one that defies our love of modern comfort and convenience for a reminder of Christmas traditions long past, living off the land, frontier know-how and hard, hard work. We say, why leave your home to get your fix of mountain pine? Keep your best flannel shirt clean and melt our Oregon Evergreen wax melts instead. Blue spruce and pine scents form the backbone of these melts while cedar, spearmint and eucalyptus suggest the astringent fresh air of the mountainside. They won’t even leave needles on the floor. • 2.6 ounce eight-piece soy wax melts in a kraft candy box and plastic tray.
• Pop one or two sections from the mold and place them in a wax melter. An electric wax melter or one that is heated with a tea light can both be used safely. Don't leave the melter unattended when turned on or burning.
